Ya, Redi-GO dipasarkan dengan menggunakan mesin berkapasitas liter dan dijual dengan harga Rs lakh atau setara Rp 73,2 jutaan. Memang, Redi-GO bukanlah produk baru Datsun di India. Karena mobil ini sudah dipasarkan beberapa waktu lalu. Namun kali ini, Datsun melakukan perubahan di sektor mesin dengan membenamkan mesin 3-silinder liter berteknologi I-SAT intelligent spark automated technology pada varian terbaru Redi-GO. Meski kapasitasnya tetap kecil, tenaga yang dihasilkan terbilang besar. Total, Redi-GO mampu meletupkan daya hingga 69 PS pada rpm dan torsinya 91 Nm pada rpm. Sebagai penyalur daya ke penggerak roda depan, tersedia transmisi manual 5-speed. Angka ini terbilang lebih besar 14 PS dengan torsi 19 Nm dibanding model sebelumnya. Redi-GO sebelumnya menggunakan mesin 3-silinder 800 cc berdaya 54 PS pada rpm dan torsinya 72 Nm pada rpm. Selain lebih bertenaga, Datsun juga mengklaim bila mesin yang digunakan lebih hemat bahan bakar. Bahkan hanya dengan satu liter, mampu membuat Redi-GO terbaru melaju hingga 22,5 km. Tidak hanya mesin, Datsun juga memberikan beberapa pembaruan pada mobil ini. Seperti dilansir dari Indianautosblog, Datsun Redi-GO kini dilengkapi central lock dan keyless entry. Untuk membantu penerangan di siang hari, sudah dilengkapi Daytime Running Light DRL LED. Di dalam kabin, kini menggunakan warna hitam baru dan diberi sentuhan akhir silver, seperti pada bagian ventilasi penyejuk kabin dan klakson. Beragam perubahan baik pada mesin dan fitur yang diubah, merupakan permintaan dari konsumen Datsun di India. Sebagai tambahan informasi, mesin yang dibenamkan Datsun pada mobil ini diambil dari Renault Kwid liter. Memang, Renault dan Nissan berada dalam satu aliansi, yang juga kerjasama dalam hal pengembangan mesin. Meski begitu, Datsun melakukan pengembangan dan menggunakan teknologi lain tidak seperti Kwid liter. Renault Kwid liter menggunakan teknologi Smart Control Efficiency dan diklaim lebih hemat bahan bakar. Belum ada informasi resmi kapan Datsun Redi-GO dijual di Indonesia. Bisa saja di GIIAS 2017 atau bisa juga masih tahun depan. Jelasnya, saat ini Datsun di Indonesia hanya memiliki 2 model saja yaitu Datsun GO berbentuk hatchback dan Datsun GO+ berwujud MPV 5+2 seater. The Sport’ variant is available for the festive season and is placed above the current top spec S’ variant of the redi-GO. On the exterior, the car gets prominent racing stripes on the hood extending towards the back and on the sides. The honeycomb design of the trapezoidal front grille gets a red contrast highlight, while a blacked out treatment has been given to the chrome bezel surrounding the grille. A similar blacked out treatment has been given to the lower scuff plates of both bumpers and wheel caps. The sportiness of the exteriors continues in the interiors as well. The Sport’ variant of the redi-GO receives a Sporty dashboard, black interiors with red stitching. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity, remote keyless entry and rear parking sensors to make reversing into tight spaces easer. Under the hood, the Sport’ variant of the redi-GO is powered by the same 799cc three-cylinder motor that produces 54PS of power and 72Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox transmitting power to the front wheels. The Datsun redi-Go Sport is available in the three colour options of Ruby, White and Grey. In the entry-level hatchback segment, the Datsun redi-Go competes against the likes of the Renault Kwid, Hyundai Eon and the Maruti Suzuki Alto.
